Sandra Peterson earns ABR designation

Coldwell Banker River Valley, REALTORS® is pleased to announce that one of their sales associates, Sandra Peterson, has been awarded the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation.
The coveted ABR® designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS and identifies those real estate agents who have demonstrated a serious commitment to the practice of buyer agency. REBAC, founded in 1988, is the world's largest association of real estate professionals focusing specifically on representing the real estate buyer. Agents with the ABR® designation have received professional training above and beyond the minimum requirements for licensing and are committed to providing top-level service.
Despite the increased use of the internet by buyers when searching for a home, a majority of those buyers still turn to a REALTOR® to help them in their decision and represent them in the home buying process. According to the National Association of REALTORS® 2010 Profile of Buyers and Sellers, eighty-three percent of all buyers used a REALTOR® when purchasing a home.
