Dog of the Month

The Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, launched in 2015, brought the spirit of our “Home’s Best Friend” commercial to every office. In a nationwide effort, events and fundraisers held by Coldwell Banker companies and network shelters exceeded the very lofty goal of getting 20,000 dogs adopted!

This year we are renewing our commitment with, including another Homes for Dogs National Pet Adoption Weekend! The date of this event will be announced later in the year.

This is a great (and EASY!) way for every Coldwell Banker company across the country to get involved in a community outreach project.

Americans love their dogs! More US Households have dogs than have children – and people consider their dogs to be a part of the family. When you tie your business to an initiative that helps dogs in need, you can spark an emotional connection with your existing and potential client. Plus, much of the rental inventory is not pet-friendly, so the ability to have pets – especially dogs – is an obvious advantage to home ownership.

And the best part is, you don’t have to be a pet adoption expert or even an expert event planner! The shelters in the network are experts at running adoption events. All you have to do is find a participating shelter in your area and reach out to find out how you can help them.

Hi, my name is Trouble!

Trouble is a 5 year old Walker Greyhound Mix looking for her forever home. Don't let her name or breed scare you; she is a great dog with none of the hunting breed traits. In fact, she's more of a couch potato. Trouble is fabulous with kids, other dogs, cats and goats. She has never had an accident in the house and doesn't need to be crated when left alone. Her fee includes age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip, spay and health certificate.

She is being cared for by
