My name is Bob, and I’m familiar with the Black River, Hatfield, and Merrillan areas, as I was born and mostly raised here. Upon honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 1984, I returned from southern California, to raise my family here in this rural paradise. I am a terrific fan of this locale, and all that it has to offer! It’s often said that I “must work for the Chamber of Commerce” when I get on a roll promoting the town! When you become aware of the caliber of churches, schools, civic organizations, and other social amenities that are available, I believe you’ll find it very attractive also. It’s a great place to live, work, and raise your family. The employment opportunities are plentiful and varied, along with the recreational choices, including camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, skateboard and water parks, recreation centers and miles and miles of ATV trails, just to name a few. You’ll have to look far and wide to find a group of small towns that have even half as much to offer as we do!
I came into this career of real estate marketing, with nothing more than common sense and a camera, and hit the ground running. I have 27 years of previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and I find many parallels in this business. Well over half of those years were spent as a Customer Accounts Manager where I was continually tasked with time sensitive and detail-oriented work. Rapid decision making and clear and concise communication were paramount to successfully meeting or exceeding customer needs and expectations. I find the real estate world to have distinct similarities, in attention to detail and timeliness requirements in order to deliver an elevated level of Customer Service.
