Job Opportunity - Bookkeeper Assistant

We are currently seeking a part-time Bookkeeper Assistant to join our local Real Estate Brokerage. This position will support a Bookkeeper with accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general invoicing to agents. This is a long term career opportunity and compensation will be based on experience.

The schedule will be flexible, between the hours of Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Competitive compensation is offered and will be based on experience!


Job duties will include:

  • Data Entry
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Assisting with daily deposits
  • Managing Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintaining confidentiality



This person must be self-motivated, proactive, and work well under little supervision. This position requires the ability to work in a team setting as well as independently. Managing time efficiently and having the ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines, with accuracy, is required. We are seeking someone that is personable, with strong customer service and math skills, and high attention to detail. 

Previous Bookkeeping experience is required. Experience with MS Excel and QuickBooks required.
