Dog of the Month

Hello, my name is Biggie!

Biggie's Info...

Check out this handsome guy!
Biggie is likely a boxer/great dane mix. He is 3-years old and weighs 95lbs. Unfortunately, Biggie suffered an attack at a dog park earlier in his life...and despite lots of training, he has never overcome his anxiety from this. Therefore, he is looking for a forever home as an only dog. He will do best in a home with no young children, and no cats. Biggie is SUCH a sweet boy. He loves to just hang out with his people, and especially loves snuggling. He does have some separation anxiety, so he does do best crated when home alone. He is crate-trained, potty-trained, and knows basic commands. If you want this gorgeous boy to be your one and only, please apply!

He is being cared for by:

The Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, launched in 2015, brought the spirit of our “Home’s Best Friend” commercial to every office. In a nationwide effort, events and fundraisers held by Coldwell Banker companies and network shelters exceeded the very lofty goal of getting 20,000 dogs adopted!

This year we are renewing our commitment with, including another Homes for Dogs National Pet Adoption Weekend! The date of this event will be announced later in the year.

This is a great (and EASY!) way for every Coldwell Banker company across the country to get involved in a community outreach project.

Americans love their dogs! More US Households have dogs than have children – and people consider their dogs to be a part of the family. When you tie your business to an initiative that helps dogs in need, you can spark an emotional connection with your existing and potential client. Plus, much of the rental inventory is not pet-friendly, so the ability to have pets – especially dogs – is an obvious advantage to home ownership.

And the best part is, you don’t have to be a pet adoption expert or even an expert event planner! The shelters in the network are experts at running adoption events. All you have to do is find a participating shelter in your area and reach out to find out how you can help them.
