Dog of the Month

Hello, my name is Gracie May!

Gracie May's Info...

Gracie May is a gorgeous, young adult mixed breed pup. She has a beautiful brindle coat and big floppy (sometimes pointy) ears! Gracie is quite nervous around new people but after a few minutes, she becomes an XL lap dog! With high energy and a passion to play, she would make the perfect exercise companion; particularly in an active home without small children or cats.

This sweet girl is so loveable. If you think Gracie May sounds like the perfect fit for you, her adoption fee is $225 which includes all of her vaccinations, dewormer, monthly flea/tick prevention, heartworm testing, spay, and general care. Please fill out an online application or stop by the Love and Friendship Adoption Center to meet her!

She is being cared for by:
Humane Society of Northeast Iowa

The Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, launched in 2015, brought the spirit of our “Home’s Best Friend” commercial to every office. In a nationwide effort, events and fundraisers held by Coldwell Banker companies and network shelters exceeded the very lofty goal of getting 20,000 dogs adopted!

This year we are renewing our commitment with, including another Homes for Dogs National Pet Adoption Weekend! The date of this event will be announced later in the year.

This is a great (and EASY!) way for every Coldwell Banker company across the country to get involved in a community outreach project.

Americans love their dogs! More US Households have dogs than have children – and people consider their dogs to be a part of the family. When you tie your business to an initiative that helps dogs in need, you can spark an emotional connection with your existing and potential client. Plus, much of the rental inventory is not pet-friendly, so the ability to have pets – especially dogs – is an obvious advantage to home ownership.

And the best part is, you don’t have to be a pet adoption expert or even an expert event planner! The shelters in the network are experts at running adoption events. All you have to do is find a participating shelter in your area and reach out to find out how you can help them.
