Hello, our names are Ellie & Theo!

Ellie & Theo's Info...

Ellie (cream female) and Theo (black male) Chinese Shar Peis are looking for their FURever home. They are are healing and settling in nicely. They were found in a home with who we believe were their puppies. Their owner had passed away - so they have had quite a turn of events in the past few weeks.

Both are now spayed and neutered and recently had surgery on their eyes (it is still healing as you can see in the photo). They are housebroke and do fine when left unkenneled in the home. They are about 4 years old and only about 35 lbs each.

Theo is as soft as velvet. Ellie is quite dependent on Theo, so we are requiring they stay together. Ellie seems to have some anxiety and so would do best in a calmer home where she can relax. They are fine with cats.

Their combined adoption fee is just $300 and that includes their vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter and heartworm test.

The Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, launched in 2015, brought the spirit of our “Home’s Best Friend” commercial to every office. In a nationwide effort, events and fundraisers held by Coldwell Banker companies and network shelters exceeded the very lofty goal of getting 20,000 dogs adopted!

This year we are renewing our commitment with, including another Homes for Dogs National Pet Adoption Weekend! The date of this event will be announced later in the year.

This is a great (and EASY!) way for every Coldwell Banker company across the country to get involved in a community outreach project.

Americans love their dogs! More US Households have dogs than have children – and people consider their dogs to be a part of the family. When you tie your business to an initiative that helps dogs in need, you can spark an emotional connection with your existing and potential client. Plus, much of the rental inventory is not pet-friendly, so the ability to have pets – especially dogs – is an obvious advantage to home ownership.

And the best part is, you don’t have to be a pet adoption expert or even an expert event planner! The shelters in the network are experts at running adoption events. All you have to do is find a participating shelter in your area and reach out to find out how you can help them.
