Max is about 4 years old and 90 pounds; believed to be a hound-mix. He is a bundle of love and prefers to be touching someone at all times. Max is very likable and gets along with other dogs, kids and cats. Very much still a puppy, he will do best with a family that can provide plenty of exercise!
Max is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.
The Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, launched in 2015, brought the spirit of our “Home’s Best Friend” commercial to every office. In a nationwide effort, events and fundraisers held by Coldwell Banker companies and Adopt-a-Pet.com network shelters exceeded the very lofty goal of getting 20,000 dogs adopted!
This year we are renewing our commitment with Adopt-a-Pet.com, including another Homes for Dogs National Pet Adoption Weekend! The date of this event will be announced later in the year.
This is a great (and EASY!) way for every Coldwell Banker company across the country to get involved in a community outreach project.
Americans love their dogs! More US Households have dogs than have children – and people consider their dogs to be a part of the family. When you tie your business to an initiative that helps dogs in need, you can spark an emotional connection with your existing and potential client. Plus, much of the rental inventory is not pet-friendly, so the ability to have pets – especially dogs – is an obvious advantage to home ownership.
And the best part is, you don’t have to be a pet adoption expert or even an expert event planner! The shelters in the Adopt-a-Pet.com network are experts at running adoption events. All you have to do is find a participating shelter in your area and reach out to find out how you can help them.
