Miss Lilly is ready for her forever home! She is a 3-year old Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix and weights about 40 pounds. She is great with other dogs, but can be a bit timid when meeting new people. BUT, she has lived with 8 children before.
Fast movements and new people can scare her a bit, so she needs a family who will continue to work with her. She would benefit from having another furry friend to play with. Lilly has gone through obediance classes and even knows some pretty cool tricks!
The Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, launched in 2015, brought the spirit of our “Home’s Best Friend” commercial to every office. In a nationwide effort, events and fundraisers held by Coldwell Banker companies and Adopt-a-Pet.com network shelters exceeded the very lofty goal of getting 20,000 dogs adopted!
This year we are renewing our commitment with Adopt-a-Pet.com, including another Homes for Dogs National Pet Adoption Weekend! The date of this event will be announced later in the year.
This is a great (and EASY!) way for every Coldwell Banker company across the country to get involved in a community outreach project.
Americans love their dogs! More US Households have dogs than have children – and people consider their dogs to be a part of the family.
